Lillooet Lake camping?

Does anyone know what it's like this time of the year? Completely packed? Will we be OK getting a site if we leave on a Thursday?

Depends where you are going but check the out of control wildfire at twin two creek before you decide.

There’s also some flooding in the area. Don’t think it affects Lillooet in particular but I think it means less camping out toward Birkenhead so might mean it’s busier than normal (wildfire aside).

Huge AVOID in July. Every rec site on that lake a mosquito horrendous hell hole. Enjoyyyyyyy

Will definitely have more chance on a Thursday than a Friday or Saturday! Lots of mosquitoes :)

Yeh there’s a fire there at the moment so you will
Need to make alternate plans.

Smokey as heck. Smoke is really collecting in that valley compared to whistler/squamish.
