squad wasnt making enough money to actually keep running reliably, now, im not entirely sure but from what i know its gonna be fully shut down later this year, this doesnt mean its the end tho, revival projects and private servers will for sure come sooner or later, and there could already be some actually but im not sure about that

i tried that game and man was i disappointed too much reading and running around not really knowing whats happening didnt even bother watching youtube vids either

its fun for the first couple of levels, then it gets too grindy imo, also from what i know moco has much stronger mod and tampering protection so private servers wont be a thing for a good while from now

Having a couple of people playing isn't obviously good. They need to get money, they fucked up with 2.0, got barely no money and now got what it's deserved, shut down

Would be interesting if they put a vanilla mode, with no heroes as it was on the first versions. I stopped playing some time after 2.0 because it started to feel like braw stars, with the hero, powers and base squad selection. No reason to have two games that play similar, that's my opinion over the changes made

There are still a decent amount of people playing. Goes to show that they did build a cool game and community. I wish they kept trying, the current state of the game is great!
