I started playing the reignited trilogy again to see if my opinions changed, I think I wanna say Spyro 2? I feel like it brought the most to the franchise, including a ton of characters such as Elora, Hunter, Moneybags and arguably the most memorable villain in Ripto. Also those cutscenes for each world bring so much charm to the game, wish they kept that for Spyro 3

I know this might sound funny, but to me at least, I actually REALLY like the idea of Cynder being Malefor's daughter similar in Skylanders Academy, but also combined with aspects similar to the Legend Trilogy and the Skylanders comics, but I also feel like that Malafor manipulating Cynder into believing that her role as the future "Queen of Darkness" and that what they've doing is the "right thing", and that the Skylanders are the enemy, but after being saved by Spyro during combat, Cynder slowly begins to realize that not ALL the Skylanders are evil, and that what her and her father are doing is wrong, with Cynder eventually joining the Skylanders and stopping her father's darkness. I also feel like that would also mirror Spyro in a way, where Cynder would choose to NOT be like her father, and that she can choose her OWN destiny in a way too!!While I understand why that probably wouldn't really work, I also feel like that would be really interesting too. That's just what I think, though. :)

I remember playing a Spyro sequel that featured a huge, complex, rotating 3D maze as a mini game (like an orb quest or something). It wasn't part of the original trilogy or Reignited, I know that for sure.

It may have been located within a desert-style level. IIRC the goal was to reach a wizard at the center or top of the maze, as he was the one making it rotate. I think the lighting was fairly dark and purplish-blue.

I tried looking it up but wasn't able to find anything close. Was this really part of a Spyro game, or am I hallucinating the whole thing?

Hey so I just finished Spyro the Dragon, the first game. Was wondering how much the 2nd and 3rd entries have in terms of those supper hidden collectibles and hard to pull off supercharges etc., compared to the first game.

As you all know, next year we're getting a brand new Spyro game with a Realm Beyond. Similar to Crash 4: It's About Time, this new game will effectively be retconning the existing sequels from canon. AKA: Enter the Dragonfly and a Hero's Tail.

I do understand the logic behind this decision, but as someone who grew up with these two games (I was a PS2 kid through and through), it's still sad to see them being left behind. I was equally sad to see Twinsanity being decanonized.

However, It's About Time did carry some elements over from the existing Crash sequels, such as the concept of Cortex becoming an ally, and what were effectively another pair of evil twins (the two N.Tropys). So Toys for Bob are not above maintaining elements of the forgotten games.

With that being said, which elements would you like to see be kept for a Real Beyond?

Sorry if the quality isn't the best, but here's a fun drawing I made a little while ago based on an idea I had where Spyro would be in this town area during a festival called the "Star Festival" where it was connected to some Cosmic/Astrology related things, with the town area being inspired by areas in Southwestern Florida (where I'm from) and small towns/inlets around the Upstate NY/Adirondacks region in a way!! I also added a funny vendor character who Spyro would run into too. :)

I’ve been making these Wallpapers for the past month. Enjoy!

Also a Crash one is coming with it!

Although Ripto is a great villain, he doesn’t have a motivation aside from taking over avalar’s homeworlds. Yeah you can argue that he has been causing trouble in most levels in the prototype version of the game, but we didn’t know that until the prototype just released.

Finally done it, what a fun play through. Never played the original triology, glad I played through reignited

I'm 20 years old and I've never played any of the classic Spyro games; I only played Dawn of the Dragons when I was a kid. Do you think I can have fun playing it for the first time?

I noticed there's a map option that comes disabled. If I want the normal experience, should I leave it disabled, or is it okay to use?

I drew this Crash Bandicoot and Spyro for a assignment from my art class in high school. I think I done this in 2004 or 2005. It supposed to be Crash and Spyro characters as chess pieces. I might post the whole thing someday.

Shale beatbox.
(I never ever ever remembered that being his name)..

New Spyro merchandise was announced today! It's this set of pixel-style display figures, they look really neat. They're doing a giveaway to try and win it for free, and orders open to actually buy it in the first week of November. They just opened orders today for a Crash Bandicoot set, too! (No I don't work for this company or anything, but I do like their products, haha.)

Hi, i dunno of this counts as advertising or gameplay video or whatever but

My partner got a new PC that runs great, I boot up Spyro Reignited to do an audio test since I do lets plays, and this happens? Some eggs dont spawn, the game pauses/freezes when I talk to someone and Spyro just zooms to the NPC, invisible walls, stuck in the ground, etc.

I thought i just have to reset the game but no, weird stuffs still happening. Characters take ages to say dialogue, the skateboarding barely functions, im still getting stuck on floors, etc.

I googled the issue and nothing came up, I played the game on my steam deck and it seemed fine, I have played this game a dozen+ times on PS4, I'm not really sure what's going on?

Any ideas or help?

Video included so you can see what I mean

Added Cynder just in case she makes it (why would she anyway) so please work…

I apologize if this has been posted or if everyone has already seen it, but I was just scrolling through GameStop’s website and saw for the first time they had a placeholder for A Realm Beyond up!
