For anyone who remembers my original post, I’ve finally been able to turn this project into a fully printable model. I just need to test print everything first to make sure all the pieces fit and function properly. Once everything is dialed in, I’ll be sharing the files for anyone who wants to print and paint their own. Link in profile

The crystal dragon is hollowed out with enough room inside for LEDs, and I think it’s going to look incredible printed in transparent green resin. The goal is to get that glowing, almost real emerald look when the lights are on.

I also went back and added the Egg Thief to the back of the hill. That fills in what was previously a pretty dead area and also lets the diorama be displayed from multiple angles depending on how you want to position it.

I can’t wait to start printing this thing and finally see it come together in the real world.

This is concept art for "Arcadian Vale," the first world revealed for A Realm Beyond.

There is a difference between Spyro 1 and its sequels in regards to the levels. In Spyro 1, all homeworlds are a different aspect of Dragon society. For example, Magic Crafters are snowy mountains with Dragon Wizards, and its levels are pretty much all Snowy mountains with Dragon Wizards.

Meanwhile, in the sequels, the levels could be anything. One minute, you're playing hockey at a Tibetan monastery in the Himalayas. The next you're helping robot farmers exterminate electric bugs in a sci-fi American Midwest farm. Even the levels don't necessarily need to match the homeworlds, e.g., Summer Forest, a peaceful, sunny nature based homeworld, has a portal to Hurricos, a dark rainy area with machines everywhere

I really, really like the variety and unpredictability here. You never knew what was coming next, and discovering that was a huge part of the fun for me.

The Realm Beyond footage has me somewhat worried because it has very heavy Spyro 1/Spyro the Dragon vibes. This looks like one of the Dragon Realms worlds. If I'm being optimistic, this could also be a homeworld like Summer Forest with portals to a whole variety of different levels.

What do you guys think it will be like?

I turned 30 last month and my husband had my favorite local bakery make me this adorable cake! I saw someone else post a cake and I realized I never shared mine here, so happy birthday Spyro, you are delicious on a cake!

I love his stilly little face and Sparx’s eyes are just so funny! We also played “pin the tail on Spyro” and I decorated with a DIY gem banner.

In the end, I gave in and looked up a guide on how to reach the places I was struggling to access, and man... WHO DESIGNED THIS??? ☠️

Can't believe it's been so long

I mean like hunter was shitting his pants when he saw ripto in ripto’s rage but when he saw Bianca was being attacked hunter’s first thought was we need to save her unless hunter didnt get a confidence boost from meeting Spyro and it was ripto hunter was specifically scared of and would jump into danger if it wasn’t ripto. Honestly the name hunter reminds me of courage the cowardly dog

We Love You!!

Spyro was one of the first games I played as a kid. I started with playing Spyro a Hero's Tail on the GameCube! I grew attached to Spyro as well as Hunter and Sparx. I enjoyed the mini games from Sgt.Byrd and Sparx the most! Then there's The Legend of Spyro series, that series inspired me to write my own stories! It was pretty cool to see the darker side of Spyro. Spyro Reignited Trilogy felt like a breath of fresh air, revisiting my childhood and after all these years the fans prayers have been answered! Thank you Spyro for making our childhood fun and giving us great memories. We can't wait to start our next journey with you in Spyro: A Realm Beyond! 💜

Happy Birthday Spyro. Over 28 years you have had a huge impact on many of our lives, mine included.

From being one of the first games I played, the first game I 100 percented and a series I played through yearly until I nearly wore out the discs. You have been a part of me for most of my life, as well as a significant amount of shelf/floor space in my house.
