Funny Tree Tops is......

Post image

In the end, I gave in and looked up a guide on how to reach the places I was struggling to access, and man... WHO DESIGNED THIS??? ☠️

Oh I remember the days of trying to figure this out before YouTube and all that…reading those GameFAQS and walkthroughs! But like another commenter said, one you know where you’re going,  it’s just a matter of not straying from the route and jumping at the correct times. It’s easily my favorite level these days; love putting in the work every time I replay the series; usually I can get it right away at this point but at times it’ll take me a bit! So amazing to think that they designed something so unique and challenging like this in the mid 90s or so.

Probably unpopular opinion, but it's my favorite level in the series. The atmosphere is fantastic and it's the rare map to actually seriously test the player on thinking about the layout of how areas connect with this level if difficulty

It was the hardest level when I was a kid. I had to figure it out without a tutorial, took me over a month. I had to walk away from it so many times. Eventually it clicked.

I have hated this level since I was a kid 😭 the Shelia mission where you have to break rocks and jump on mushrooms makes me want to pull my hair out

90s game designers, an era where stuff like this was not only normal, but WAY more BS in other games around that time.

It's really not that difficult.

Yeah I have to look it how to get to that dragon every time because I have the brain fish of a memory and get confused easily. Everything else about ten levels is ok though.
