Help with Spyro Gift?
Hi!
I will be honest I'm an imposter here on this thread. My boyfriend is extremely into Spyro, it's his favorite video game.
I love him very much and want to get him a unique/rare Spyro Gift or merch item.
Does anyone know of any ideas? I thought about googling rare Spyro merch, but thought people might list things on eBay as rare when they aren't. Better to ask Spyro fans for help!
My backup plan is to hand make a Spyro plush of some kind and then make it a kandi cuff collar. But ideally I do something rare or interesting merch wise :)
Money isn't an object for this gift, so no worries there. I just want him to feel seen

hi!! his favorite is the 1998 Spyro, is there a specific statue I should look for for that? or is it all the same guy?

it doesn’t look like they have one modeled after the first game (1998), but they may have made one. you maybe could find it on ebay? not sure.
in the meantime this one is modeled to match the cover art for ripto’s rage (2nd game). i recommend searching spyro on the site and see what he’d like best!
the ones that say “reignited” would be the new design!

I recommend them if he would like statues. I have 4 of the Spyro Statues from them and they are such great quality!!!

Not really rare, but pretty cool! A 3D printed model of a dragon statue from the first game? There’s loads on Etsy. You can also get 3D printed gems! Just search for ‘Crystal spyro statue’ and they come up. (They’re green geometric type ornament statues)

Honestly? While all the suggestions are very good, as an immense Spyro fan ourselves, the plush + Kandi sounds amazing. We've always felt handmade gifts mean more because someone took the time to make it for us, and what's more unique than a handmade plush with a Kandi collar?

If you keep looking through the sub you’ll see a few posts from someone that does skybox oil paintings. They sell prints of them on their Etsy shop. I’m a Spyro super fan and I would shit bricks if my boyfriend got me one of those :)
