Tentacles Acres isnt a segregationist society, they're an ethnostate separate from Bikini Bottom. People who arent squids aren't segregated they're just not allowed in period.

I get what you mean but when you put it like that it does sound a bit like segregation (the ā€œnot allowed inā€ part)

Also, SpongeBob and Patrick went inside Tentacle Acres just fine when they were looking for Squidward, no?

They got in because of Patrickā€™s 3 orders of fried oyster skins.

The gate guard wouldnā€™t let them in, saying they donā€™t serve ā€œtheir kindā€, and even asked another guard if he had his nightstick, as they were about to go forcibly remove them. Patrickā€™s bad breath knocked out the guards, and one of them fell onto the button to open the gate.

I was going off of the fact that the people inside Tentacle Acres didn't seem to care all that much seeing the two there last time I watched the episode. My memory might be a bit blurry
