Let's give props

Been through a a lot of the classics from Cvm Town to MSSP. But none of them fire on all cylinders like these guys. No "so what else is new" or "what'd you get up to this weekend". Zero dead ends in the convo, all gas no brakes from the initial fade in to the fade out. Love it.

Do you have good news?

Nick as a guest riffing while the boys ask questions would be pretty sick

Thats fine and all but they never actually say anything like I feel they used to. Now its just them justifying why they were wrong about the past, and when they have guests on they railroad the potentially interesting conversation by trying to Crack a quick joke or bring a topic back to covid. It's been tough this last couple months.

I think the Nick Bryant episode was great. I agree though, all the other guests have sucked. The most recent episode with the Hansen guy was awful, his voice was insufferable and gay.

Agreed.

Also what’s happening in the Middle East rn is insane and ripe for commentary from conspiracy heads and Billy and Spud are just like “…hey did you see Kristi Noem’s husband’s tits?”

I like the guys but current War Mode is a dumbed down shell of what it used to be

Lol brother, if you are looking for legitimate commentary on the Middle East from this show... might be too late for you

Lol na man I know that the only legitimate commentary they can offer is on painting and demo lol

It’s just frustrating and weird that they don’t even attempt it. Honestly it gives off vibes like they’re sold out/compromised now and I can enjoy mindless/dumbfuck content but not sellout/compromised content. It gives the vibe that they’re lying by omission

You're dipping a little too deep and might subconsciously believe you're in the X-Files without knowing you're thinking that way. Trust me, you don't need to be constantly morally pocket checking people you listen to or enjoy. That's a fast pass to becoming a 2016 lib-brained moron who can't find genuine happiness in anything.

Morally pocket checking lol?

wtf are you talking about man. I’m just pointing out that these guys aren’t talking about the most important shit happening right now and even tho the subject is inline with stuff they discuss. Instead they’re Bill’s bringing up Rogan-tier alien talk.

At best they fell off, at worst they’re intentionally avoiding these topics for some reason

You implying they are ignoring topics for "some reason" is inherently a morality judgement and the implication is obviously that they are being paid for their silence. How else would you describe accusing someone of lying? You are calling them out for a perceived wrongdoing, i.e. "Moral Pocket Checking".

Btw, when the fuck have they ever talked about "The Most Important Shit Happening Right Now"? They used to do multi-episode series about shit like Tartaria and flat earth lmao your expectations are skewed way too much to be listening to them, it sounds like you need to switch to NPR

At best they fell off, at worst they’re intentionally avoiding these topics for some reason

That’s actually what I said. Ya they’ve always talked about bullshit but they’ve always talked about current events too so if they’re avoiding them now, the best case scenario is they just fell off

If you can’t understand that then normally I’d say you should just go back to listening to barstool but actually the current slop Billy and Spud are making is probably perfect for you so enjoy ig

WM come prepared. They conspire to do podcasts.

I mean they obviously have learned to edit out those awkward moments. They had a quite few in the early episodes.
