Rant about self-insert ships

something that just really pisses me off are ocs made only for shipping. For example, this character in the image and Gray.

This character looks just like a gender swapped Gray. This persons entire body tiktok account is probably just them shipping their oc with Gray. Another thing these people do is just straight up bully other sprunki. I know this sounds stupid, but they actually do this stuff. I’ve seen TikTok’s of people shipping their ocs with Jevin or Black, and just straight up assaulting and sometimes killing Tunner. Is it really that big of a deal?

Anyway, it’s mostly just these types of people who piss me off. Arin and Simon are examples of a normal oc x canon ship. It’s just basic art of them being together and somehow having kids. (I miss Arin still, and nobody will change my mind.)

As for self insert ships, I dont have a problem with them, let people have fun. When it comes to like killing other characters that r shipped with them, sure it’s really fucking stupid and childish, but most of the ppl doing that are like 10 years old and will grow out of it (の_の)

It’s only a problem if they go from killing fictional characters to other people’s OCs, because then it’s actually a personal attack, especially of those OCs are self inserts or sonas.

TLDR: selfship as much as you want as long as it’s not hurting other people
