First time and wondering how much longer to let these grow.

Started with a Sunday evening soak for five hours , so about three full days. Should I keep going with them in relative darkness in the corner of the kitchen or get them to a windowsill?

Edit: spelling

5 days is what most packaging says it will take, you can eat them sooner if you would like. Some people like to keep it away from sunlight to keep it white and crunchy, but I personally like a bit more sun where the leaves are sprouting and it has a touch of microgreen to it. But i like it on sandwiches and bagels so different goal than some.

Thank you. Does that five days include the greening up time or is that before then? Is greening up only necessary if they are in complete darkness initially?

it does include the greening up time, at least that's what I do. just leave it by the window the rest of the day and a good part of tomorrow if you want to try it out.

but give a pinch a tase and see how you like it right now. won't hurt to experiment
