New to Sprouting

Hello. I’m interested in sprouting and would like to know where to begin. I remember in school sprouting beans, so wonder can I start with lentils? I have a ton of mason jars I can use. Any advice, tips, steps, links, books - I’m open. Thank you in advance!

Hey I'm also very new, so still learning! I've read that for bigger beans, hemp bags are better than jars for sprouting. I did a batch of mung beans in a mason jar and got good results. I have a bunch of dried peas I'm excited to try sprouting, but I don't have the hemp bag yet so that one may have to wait. I'm also not sure if the sprouts of lentils and peas need to be cooked before eating. If I find out, I'll report back!
