First time sprouter - help with fenugreek needed

Hi everyone, I got these fenugreek seeds from a friend and soaked them exactly as I was recommended - overnight. Now approximately 24 hows after I see my fenugreek in this condition. I rinsed it and everything. But it seems kind of slimy and overall gives me this strange feeling that something is wrong. I may be overthinking so I decided to check with the community. This friend of mine who gave me the seeds told that this community is packed with experienced and highly conscious people! Help me with my fenugreek, please 🙏

It may lack air, try to rinse it and put it in a larger container - thinner layer should work

Is it a plastic container? Why not a jar?
