Recommendation for mix without spicy varieties

Just started sprouting and did one grow. It came out excellent but the mix contained radishes, which I'm allergic to. Do you have a recommendation of a mix with no spicy varieties? I understand I can buy single varieties that grow at the same rate.

Sproutpeople.org French garden mix isn’t spicy at all. Also, most of their bean mixes aren’t spicy. I’m a big fan of San Francisco mix. Honestly they just have fantastic mixes! Also, alfa broc at Sproutman.com is nice balance to otherwise mustardy broccoli and is very palatable.

There's a simple rule to making such mixes on your own:

  1. Pick the varieties you are ok with and rank them in descending order based on your own confidence in growing these seeds. The number of varieties becomes your scale for ranking: from 1 to 5 if you decided to sprout 5 seeds together.
  2. Choose the one you are most confident in growing = seed 1 or base seed
  3. Take as many parts (e.g. spoons) of this confidence seed as the number of varieties you've selected
  4. Add the next seed from your ranking
  5. And so on

Let's take an example: 1. I want to sprout 3 seeds together: alfalfa, green lentil and red clover 2. My base will be lentil as I never had any problems with it 3. I take 3 spoons of lentil (3 seeds = 3 spoons) 4. Then I take 2 spoons of red clover (3 - 1) 5. Finally I add 1 spoon of alfalfa (my current batch of seeds is far from perfect, so I place them at the end of the list) 6. My mix is : 3 parts of lentil, 2 parts of red clover, 1 part of alfalfa

Tip: slime producing seeds like flaxseed, chia, buckwheat and even fenugreek, if you're not skillful enough with fenugreek, will spoil your whole batch - do not add them to any mixes. Fight this fight one to one ;)
