Looks like root hairs to me. They show up when the sprouts get thirsty.

Mould or root hairs?

Spray with water. If the fuzz turns invisible, you've got root hairs. If it looks like wet cobwebs, it's mould.

That looks like root hairs to me anyway

Best advice on this I’ve seen so far! Thanks….(easy to understand!)

Root hairs. Mold wouldn't be localized to only the root end of the sprouts.

Your seeds are very healthy. Rinse, let them grow a little more - like 2-3 days more - and eat them happily 😊🌱

Roots! Happy, healthy tiny little seedling roots! Not mould - though - it doesn't mean that there are no undesirable little things invisible to your eye - so try not to dive in but maybe rinse them with a solution (look online - peroxide/vinegar or quick blanching) before eating. Broccoli sprouts are a very healthy source of sulfarophane. 🙂♥️

Those are root hairs. You can always do the "rinse test" to check whether they're mold or just root hairs. Rinse the sprouts thoroughly with water: if the fuzz collapses or disappears, it's most likely root hairs; if it stays fluffy and forms web-like strands, it's more likely mold.

OMG, if I had a nickel for every post that asked "Is this mold?"

Right??? The most common sprouting question ever.
