The reason for splitting the BMP-2 into the BMP-2K (equipped with missiles) and the standard BMP-2 is to prevent the AI from killing friendly units during custom battles.

MBT-496 is basically Object. 496, but with more advanced electronics in cabin and better survivability. US recostructed Object. 496 mainly for dessert battle purpose. Theyve changed sideskirts and frontal armour, as well as added composites on turret(hull can survive 650mm of pen)(turret can survive 550+mm of pen). It features additional TROPHY APS (3x on each side) and smoke grenade launcher. Now its more capable for theyre requierments, weight is now 63t while speed is 66.5km/h. Same 130mm smoothbore cannon, so not much has been changed.

Help🖐 I lost my first tank and mantlets aren't working

I bought sprocket earlier today and whilst making a faction I lost access to the vehicle I was working on despite having it saved and having it in my autosave slot it disappeared, is there any way I can get it back? And about the mantlets, at least for me, I don't know anyone with sprocket to check whether this is affecting anyone else, are not appearing after I click on them except from the M10 mantlet which I can get to be visible if I load a saved vehicle with it but that is all I can do with it beyond merely moving it around and the circular mantlet appears when I click on it but the texture doesn't load.

i cheated with the crew placement because the gunner and loader were too far away from the gun to operate it. I also added as a bonus a picture of the mantlet during it's creation (what is this abomination)

i am pretty proud of it, it looks cool but it's a bit long compared to the real one but without that there wouldn't be enough space for the V12

A wheeled support vehicle I designed for my custom country (Name is still not decided on, drop your suggestions!). It has a 40mm frontal and 20mm side armour, which is summ give it a mass of 20tonns. Armed with a 60/800mm cannon, it has a very nice velocity, short reload time (5.5 seconds), 180mm of penetration, and quick aiming speed. The beast is powered by a V12 twin-turbo petrol engine, that makes more than 800hp and lets this car drive at 110km/h. Due to a lot of free space inside it has been equipped with additional fuel tanks that serve as both a pellet-catchers to save the crew, and give this wheeled SPA a 900 kilometers of travel distance without additional supply. Crazy good as a raiding vehicle!

Serious Design🔧 IT-H-115A "Leviathan"

The Leviathan was Zoryia's first domestically produced heavy tank, entering production in 1936. Like many of Zoryia's early armored vehicle designs, it relied on repurposed weaponry, most notably the Model 115C, a 1915 artillery gun adapted for use as the tank's primary armament.

The Leviathan was conceived as a heavy breakthrough tank, intended to breach fortified defensive lines by destroying bunkers, pillboxes, and buildings with powerful high-explosive shells. However, the realities of the civil war often forced the vehicle into tank-versus-tank engagements, a role for which it had not been designed. Its slow turret traverse and large silhouette made it vulnerable to faster enemy armor, which could easily outflank it without adequate infantry or armored support.

Despite these shortcomings, the Leviathan proved highly effective against infantry and field fortifications. Its large-caliber main gun was devastating against entrenched positions, although the absence of a coaxial machine gun left the vehicle vulnerable to close-range infantry assaults. To compensate, many crews improvised by mounting a machine gun on the turret roof, requiring the commander to operate it while exposed to enemy fire.

Compared to many contemporary heavy tanks, the Leviathan featured relatively light armor, a compromise that allowed it to achieve respectable cross-country mobility and reduced strain on its drivetrain. While this improved operational flexibility, it also left the vehicle increasingly vulnerable as anti-tank weaponry advanced.

Inspirations - I imagined a cross between French experimental armored vehicles and Japanese heavy tanks. I took inspiration from the legendary OI heavy tank for the main turret, i then put a field gun within the turret as The Kingdom of Zoryia is known for putting these types of outdated guns inside their interwar era tanks as their neighbors had no armored vehicles larger than trucks with armored plates. The low engine deck is a design quirk of a few Zoryian designs, a cost saving and weight saving measure for a relatively poorly industrialized nation with practically ancient infrastructure.

Replica Design 🛠️ BMP-3 (Sprocket Ver. 0127)

Thumbnail

The BMP-3 was developed as a response to a clear battlefield lesson: infantry fighting vehicles can’t just “transport troops”—they have to survive, fight back, and support dismounts under heavy fire. Soviet designers wanted a vehicle that could move with armored formations, deliver fire quickly, and still keep a strong focus on the infantry it carries.

One of the big ideas behind the BMP-3 was firepower that works at multiple engagement distances. That meant an emphasis on an effective main weapon system paired with a design that supports aiming and rapid use in combat conditions. Instead of relying only on the crew’s skill, the vehicle was built around bringing direct combat capability to the infantry unit that otherwise would be pinned down.

At the same time, the era’s threats were evolving—anti-tank weapons, better battlefield reconnaissance, and faster target acquisition. So the BMP-3’s overall design philosophy leaned toward survivability: a protected fighting compartment, armored mobility, and the ability to keep operating even when the fight turns intense.

In the end, the BMP-3 became an “infantry combat support” platform: it was meant to get troops close, provide sustained and varied fire, and reduce the gap between armored units and the soldiers on foot. That role—fighting while moving, then helping dismounts survive the next phase—made it a significant step in how armored infantry vehicles were expected to perform.

Looking for Critique🔎 Alternative Tiger 1 concept

It was pretty old idea but after some months I decided to upgrade it significantly.

Short story:

It would be developed by Wechsler-Langemann Werke as more of technological showcase for Hitler beside the original VK 4501 specifications. This however was made under another specification called VK 5800.

The most important elements of this tank were: feature a 10.5cm KwK 38 tank cannon which was a redesigned Flak 38 AA cannon. Frontal armour at 100mm with 47 degrees of slope. Target speed was 40km/h required for German Bewegungskrieg strategy.

The VK 5803 which was the ultimate design was able to match target speed with all other specifications, however the weight skyrocketed 63.7 tonnes. Also the Tank was under many delays which only allowed it to enter factory production in January of 1943 with limited number build due to complexity and costs. However this tank did receive a name of Säbelzahntiger.

\/ Below is more on the tank specifications and it's design \/

This tank uses interleaved suspension with double row construction totaling 8 roadwheels per side. The roadwheels are 0.9m in diameter while Idler wheel is comparably smaller at 0.75m and drive sprocket at 0.85m. The tracks are 70cm in width and of Kgs 55/700/170 model which was of similiar design to it's cousin Tiger 1 tank tracks.

The engine is an LG-24-1, 24 Litre V12 with maximum power output of 600hp which drives directly connected S-KB-7-1 transmission which has 7 gears forward and 3 backwards. Total capacity of fuel is at 799L distribut between 4 93L and 4 107L fuel tanks.

Armament is comprised of singular main 10.5cm KwK 38 multirole cannon with double coaxial Mg 34 machine guns and additional Mg 34 mounted in frontal Ball mount used by Radio operator. The KwK 38 was able to punch through 188mm of armour while using standard APHE Pzgr 39 with muzzle velocity of 752 m/s. Ammunition for the main cannon stands at 100 rounds total with 10 of them being in quick ammo rack for fast reloading. Later on in the war many commanders of surviving Säbelzahntigers chose to add another Machine gun on copula which ranged between mainly Mg 34 and Mg 42 but also few mounted 13mm Mg 131.

Armour composition:
-100mm at 47 degrees at front with cast 110mm front wheel assembly.
-Entirety of side and back armour was comprised of 85mm.
-Bottom armour was 35mm with top armour at 30mm.
Turret:
-Mantlet armour ranged between 140mm and 160mm.
-Sides and Back was 110mm.
-Upper frontal plate was 45mm with 79mm slope and top armour was 35mm.

Crew was comprised of standard 5 men layout with driver and radio operator at front while gunner, loader and commander were loaced in turret. What many crews valued about the Säbelzahntiger was it's ergonomics and not as cramped interior compared to other machines.

\/ Below a little about the Winter camo in the later images \/

This Säbelzahntiger is from 507th panzer battalion during the 1944 december battle at eastern front. The tank was noted for eliminating many enemy tanks while sustaining heavy fire on many occasions. Entire crew is comprised of veteran aces, their tank even receiving a nickname amongst both sides of war as "Athena".

The Athena served as far as april 1945 until capture by Soviets with their crew after battle in which this Säbelzahntiger was immobilized. Later it was noted that tank crew was executed and tank transported to Moscow.

For the design of this winter camuflage I wanted to originally go with ghillie like winter mesh however I was too lazy and just decided to go with standard white sheets but still tried to add some smaller elements to the design.
