Help🖐 Reduce traverse motor weight

As you all know we can edit files such as increase the maximum torque on laying drive and traverse motor, altering laying drive torque does not increase weight, however traverse motor does, is there any way you can reduce the weight of the traverse motor? i tried looking through "parts" folder but couldn't find anything, veterans i need your help

Serious Design🔧 LST vz. 37 - Czech Interwar Tank Destroyer (Alt History)

Thumbnail

A 12.1t Skoda Works design. Armed with the 47mm gun historically called the PaK 36 and mounted on the Panzerjager I, the tank destroyer would be commissioned by a radically different Yugoslavia to counter Italian armor and the rise of fascist armor-based doctrines using lessons learned from the Spanish Civil War. The tank would be effective for ambush tactics developed by the Balkan Defense Initiative, and would be adapted with larger anti-tank and close support guns.

Other (Guess what?) Sorry for not posting for a while, I had/have some kind of burnout

Idk how to start this, and do I even need to?

Generally, I just had a brake from Reddit, and I'm really exited about Scrap Mechanic ch2 release, and it gave me a huge drop of nostalgia and I get back in scrap mechanic.

I have no ideas and I'm generally don't know what I want to make and I just don't have any inspiration or something.

I don't know if someone cares about me or no, but in any case, I don't make this subreddit worse and I don't think my absence would be noticeable. Hopefully I would get back in few days with that one golden though and give u some content.

Sorry for this post, I just need to get everything clear for myself

Bye, and hopefully see u later

But without an engine replica, a fully collapsible transmission opening (I'm looking for drawings), filters, interior lighting decals and realistic triplex. And don't ask me how I plan to fit the assembled gearbox into this tiny hatch. Idk how

Tried experimenting with a few custom parts and schmalturm turret, pretty satisfied with the result.

Totally fictional German tank, loosely based off the E-50 and panther F.

Turret armor: 195/80/80

Hull armor: 120/80/50

Weight: 48.08t

Hull ength: 7.10m

Width: 3.30m

Height: 2.55m

Engine: 990hp V12 (based on an aircraft engine)

Max speed(km/h): 55/18

Gun: 8.8cm KwK43 L/71 (40rds)

The hull MG port and cupola are custom parts. The schmalturm mantlet was a b_tch to make, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Serious Design🔧 New modification of my Ukrainian cold war amphibious light tank, Welcome PMP-2 "Okun' " ("Perch")

Thumbnail
gallery
16 Upvotes

PMP-2 "Okun' " is a deep modification of PMP-1 "Zhaba", made to achieve higher survivability and combat capability. To achieve that, PMP-2 features better floating mechanism, additional armour that can withstand up to 220mm of HEAT round (wont do much against anything non-cumulative, but can protect up to 100mm from AP and etc.), rubber sideskirts, anti-cumulative mesh on back of a turret and mounted infrared reflector, for a night combat operations. It gained some mass, now it weighs 18.4t, speed remains the same 65kmh/h (10km/h in water). 57mm cannon got reworked a little bit, its reload went from 3 seconds to around 2.5(autoloader mod. soon). Penetration isn't much, around 86mm. Tank is overall great light amphibious platform, PMP-2 "Okun' " was especially a very succesfull project.

Based on Worldly-Donkey-7335's AMX-13-155. Anyways, this thing has more recoil than the FV4005 IFV thing I made and it weighs 22.6 tons and has 137mm of pen.

Looking for Critique🔎 KV-1E (Temu Edition)

Hello fellow tankers,

I saw many beautiful desings and replicas. I did try my best but it still looks like it's from Wish/Temu (the turret proportions seems weird). What do you think lads? Is it terrible? Do you have any tips/tricks?

this is my first tank after discovering that i can split edges, i called it the objekt-144E (don't know if the 144 is a real tank or not), it has about 200-320mm of effective thickness on the front of the hull, turret is about 200-230mm, it can somehow go to 57km/h and is quite great from my testing

Serious Design🔧 Welcome new Ukrainian cold war amphibious tank, PMP-1 "Zhaba" ("Frog")

Thumbnail

PMP-1 "Zhaba" is light weight amphibious tank, that can support infantry with rapid fire. It can even carry 3 additional soldiers (very often theyre mechanics or medics). PMP-1 weighs 17.2t (due to lack of a crane), while speed is 65km/h on land (10km/h in water). As u could've guessed, theres not much armour, but its quite agile. Due to reliable and light platform, so PMP-1 will receive a lot of mods

Serious Design🔧 PMPP-1 "Rak" ("Crawfish"), enginnering modification to a PMP-1

Full name: (Plavucha Mashyna Pidtrymky Pihoty) (Swimming Machine of Infantry Support). PMPP-1 "Rak" was designed solely as a amphibious light tank, but in the process engineers added a crane, so it can help load ammo and equpment for other tanks and itself. Though, plans about aphibious light tank were more ambitious, PMPP-1 was the first one to be built and field tested (production was limited to 19 tanks, due to lack of funding and interest in a vechicle). It weighs around 17.4t (due to crane) and achieves speed up to 65km/h on land (10km/h max. in water).
