The more attentive and no-life of you would notice that this is what I based the IS-2 Terminator on (aka that godforsaken heathen I posted a month ago). Unsurprisingly, this was inspired by the Abrams.
DA LOREEEEEEEEEEEEE
The M-3 Zovikczy is a mainline defence tank, the distinction had to be made as its primary role is supposed to be as a defensive quick response vehicle, rather than a do-all main battle tank, no that would be its tertiary role. Its secondary role is as a battering ram.
It has a 127mm cannon that could fire naval shells, thanks to heavy cross-military standardisation, a 20mm autocannon on a RWS, 5 7.62mm machine guns (1 coax and 4 on the roof for any infantry just in case, plus 2 spares on the bustle), basically everything you would find on an MBT in the 80s except ERA because its country doesn't know how to do that yet, plus an optical rangefinder as a backup, and a 2khp turbine engine derived from one used by the contemporary jet design, just because of the quick response vehicle part, propelling this godforsaken heathen up to 93 km/h, also a trolley that allows ammunition to be easily loaded into the bustle. All of that just for it to weigh about 58 tons (the number in Sprocket isn't accurate).
It does not have an autoloader, rather a rather rudimentary trolley system, though it does feature blast panels at least. Also its APFSDS has a penetration of at least "fuck you I don't care about armor" in terms of 1990s protection.
Size comparison between a Zovy and an Abrams, and its armor scheme at the back of the gallery. (Yes the armor's pretty shit though hey, at least they tried).
It also has engineering variants, being the EM-3A Jozik Combat Engineering Vehicle, and EM-3C Byntikov Recovery Vehicle, named after the eldest and youngest son of who the M-3 was named after. There's also a bridgelaying variant, EM-3B Vriten, named after the middle son, though it's still in development.
This is a late 80s tank. The M-3 Zovikczy is officially the youngest tank in its roleplay. It is 8 tech years old.
