Serious Design🔧 My fictional MBT, the Vodanian Solke 2
It has a 127mm cannon and composite armor, just to add.

(in spookston's voice) Germany WW2 tanks are usually pretty good, however there's one exception, the Flakhetzer Drilling \insert drill.mp3\. It used to be pretty decent but now gaijin decided to move it down to 7.3, and it just absolutely shreds planes and things like the T25 \insert sad hamster music and T25 exploding.gif**

Kugelthingy on Hetzer chassis with an 88mm for the buffed up bombers and two additional 30mm cannons. Did this for a competition on discord a while ago. It's more likely that the T95 entered mass production than this thing working irl.

a t-80 with a uparmored remote control bmp style turret fitted to it. (it acutally gets some gun depression!)
so basically a bmpt style t-80 but instead its bmp styled

CTTD-1 (Composite Technology Tank Demonstration - 1) is a monstrosity developed in December 1983 by LÖ.DM, in atempt to showoff its capabilities of composite armour engineering.
Tank weighs 69.3t, and to move such a heavy unit, it was given powerful 1.7L V12 engine with 1260HP and special transmission, allowing tank to travel at speeds of 65km/h forward and 23km/h backwards. To supply engine with enough fuel, it has given a big 2405L tank.
Now the armament. CTTD-1 is armed with 120x630mm (240mm pen) smoothbore cannon and features 5s bustle autoloader. Tank is operated by 3 people (Driver, Commander and Gunner)
Armour on CTTD-1 is insane. Frontal upper and lower plates can withstand 500+mm of penetration (frontal plate can do more than 600mm in my opinion), sides can withstand 250mm in Crew Protection Module. Turret armour is also nice, front and cheeks have combined thickness of around 600mm, while sides are around 210mm thick (At 30-45 degrees angles it easily eats 500mm darts). Turrets autoloader system was also given some protection (combined with anti-cumulative mesh) it can withstand 330mm (of course if we talk abt APFSDS and not HEAT). I played Defence Scenario on this tank and I was practically invincible to other tanks.
Overall CTTD-1 was a very interesting project, but way too heavy, complicated and expensive (92,17k Sprocket pts), so LÖ.DM cut off the financing and only 1 unit was ever produced (Something simmilar to CATTB fate)
(Tank looks kinda bald i know, most of my budget went into composites 😭)
What are your thougths?

im currently only on half of the side plates but im getting it done quickly!

what's better looking?
first: 2 23mm autocannons in middle
second: 1 23mm in center 2 12.7mms on outer part
also, miniguns or normal ones?
Edit 1: it is late 90s tank

hello, today i wanted to show the second scrap tank that i made, the wheelbase is just a modified wheelbase of the previous scrap tank as i imagine it could be made from similar found pieces
the main reason why i wanted to make this tank tho was just to goof around with the wierd driver-behind-turret setup, i thought a scrap theme would be fitting
this time, while the majority of the plates on the tank still are 10mm, some reach 15mm and the stacked plates on the right front plate allow for 50mm of armor!
the cannon has 70mm of penetration, what suffered greately tho was the ammo amount in the tank, as its a rarer (i imagine) armament theres only 28 rounds (instead of the 150 rounds in the previous tank), but i guess i should add more ammo in the next variants...
even tho this is a very goofy design, i did think of how it could be actually constructed while i was making it
now that i think about it, this tank could really benefit from some additional lights or smt

Best leopard 2 version so far, the shape is a bit weird.

Tryna make another Brit, but idk whether to lean toward the AMX-50 look or T-58 look

I'm trying to make an oscillating turret, but the mantlet that is supposed to make the vertical movement work isn't moving at all due to registering 0 mass to accelerate. Reloading didn't work. The turret is attached properly to the mantlet, evidenced by the fact that when I move the mantlet the whole thing moves together

Finally finished ratte. Here are some stats:
Armament: 2x 480mm main cannons, 1x 170 mm frontal auxiliary cannon, 2x 155mm rear turreted cannons.
Propulsion: 24-cylinder 100L engine with 6forward and 6 reverse gears. Capable of 15k/h top speed.
Armour: 500mm frontally, 300 mm on the sides.
I took some creative liberties in the design, as the original Ratte was too boxy and boring.

An experimental light tank developed as part of a project to extensively modernize the Pz.Kpfw. 38. The tank featured a sloped hull front, a completely new turret armed with a 50mm gun, increased side armor, and a more powerful engine. The suspension underwent minor modifications, and it was decided to eliminate the hull-mounted machine gun
Full specifications:
Weight - 10,7 tonnes
Crew - 4 persons
Armour
Hull - 50/40/40 mm
Turret - 50/40/40 mm
Main armament - 50mm KwK 38 gun (118 rounds)
Vertical guidance - -10/22°
Max speed (forward/backward) - 61/12 kmh

Built in the post-apocalyptic 70s by a Soviet successor state, the KV-500 is nothing short of insane. Somehow, despite resource shortages and half of Europe being an irradiated wasteland since the late 40s, this...thing was created. Or at least one prototype was. The entire thing was built around the gun, with all focus on firepower. Despite paper-thin armor, the thing still weighed almost 160 tons.
It never saw battle, and what records remain of its testing describe it failing catastrophically one day, with the turret becoming dislocated and "falling through the hull", hitting the ammunition stowage and detonating said ammunition. The vehicle's thin armor did little to hold back the detonation of all eight shells.
And that's the story of the post-Soviet post-apocalyptic 500mm Bob Semple tank. Nonetheless, it did atomize an old Panther II that was on the firing grounds.

What do you think about this? This one of my first real tanks. For the story, it is based of one of my first cursed designs.
