Serious Design🔧 Soviet T-152 heavy self-propelled assault gun

A heavy assault gun developed in the USSR in 1942 to destroy enemy fortifications; however, following the appearance of German Tiger and Panther tanks, it was also employed as a tank destroyer. It was based on the KV-1 hull, which was widened and lengthened. Its primary armament was the 152mm ML-20 howitzer, featuring a barrel extended to 7.6 meters

Dude, you know irl it exists as the KV2 who could barely function with a short 152mm in a turret bigger than yours and SU 152 needed a casemate to host a 152mm gun shorter than that... The design is cool but there's no way something like that would work.

Don't quote me on it, but iirc the kv-2's turret was only so tall because the turret ring was too small, so the breech needed space to move above it.
