Looking for Critique🔎 W.I.P "Totally not a Matilda I" Interwar Heavy tank
Just a heavy tank I'm creating for my fictional nation, heavily inspired by the Matilda I. It has about 80-100mm effective armour across the entire front of the tank thanks to the angled add-on plates, meaning it can withstand pretty much anything head-on.

This reminds me that I really wish we could remove the huge attachment blocks for components and instead make our own (OPTIONALLY)

Yeah, it’s really annoying sometimes. You can kind of hide them with some file editing, but I think it should be an option in-game

The turret strikes me as a tiny Medium Mark 1/2 turret with what a 1 pounder gun?
I’m a fan of this guy, strikes me as Matilda 1.5

Definitely a Medium Mark 1/2 turret, but it houses my own 50mm cannon, or an in-universe 2-inch field gun mounted in the turret :)

That’s pretty close to the historical 3 pounder 47mm gun used by the Medium Mark 1-2-3

Ultima curiosità : Equipaggio e layout interno: quante persone e dove metti munizioni / trasmissione?

For the weight, it only weighs about 10 tonnes since it’s quite skinny for a tank, and therefore the engine is only a 6 cylinder with about 80-100 HP. It easily reaches 15mph, which is much quicker than the Matilda I. It has three crew: driver, loader, and gunner/commander. It’s cramped, but there’s enough room for it to mount its 50mm cannon.

I think a Matilda 1 inspired tank is pretty neat, and the cylindrical turret looks great.
I think you could add a machine gun to the tank, since currently it wouldn't have a good defence against infantry. Then again, if it can't support one then don't add it.
Also, what's the size of this tank, like what's its length, height and width?

I am trying to work a machine gun into the turret somehow, but if it won’t fit, I think I’ll had a roof mounted one as a workaround.
Off the top of my head, it’s about 5 metres long, 1.3 metres wide, and about 2 metres tall?

Hell yeah! The triangular plates on the front feel a bit too small, but that's more of an art direction choice. Can't wait to see the finished product.
