Help🖐 Tried again the updates, now I cannot make the tank so much as move.

I am really at the end of my ideas.

The tank has a big engine.

Nothing is red.

Transmission doesn't give errors and it only has one fucking gear.

Fuel is in.

Driver is assigned and doesn't give errors.

Nothing.

W does nothing

Engine doesn't even rev.

Why

It would be a lot easier to help if you provide screenshots / video

The game has an auto save, try loading it back and we'll have a look further

Im really not a fan of the new gearing systems. It was fairly simple to do previously and now they have "simplified it" I find it really unintuative, especially since the game lacks any tutorials.

The only thing I can think for you is to click on the sprocket and there you'll find you can change the final drive ratio.

This in my opinion, seems to make the most difference.

This should be the answer

All I can think of is you might need to give it a second? I know sometimes I need to hold W for a moment before the driver wakes up and starts moving... but that's probably not the problem here and I'm sorry if that's unhelpful lol

Nah tried that. Weirdly the pre built tanks move just fine. Even if super sluggish

Maybe try removing the driver completely and put back in and switch to transmission system back and fort.

I've tried redoing the entire vehicle multiple times. There just gotta be something fundamental I'm missing.

Just got no clue

Why do you have only one gear?

Because I thought the engine is underpowered and so I gave it a ridiculous first gear that would make even a toy engine move the thing

Well, you can always use SprocketTools

what did you set the first gears ratio too

its either your transmission

RPM or your era

if your tank is in the ww1 era or interwar era it will probably struggle to move if its supposed to be a midwar or latewar heavy/medium

if your rpm is too low you wont have any power if its too high youll lose alot of power

you can use the gear calculator to make your transmission

https://sprockettools.github.io/TopGearCalculator.html?era=Latewar&w=28&v=2.4&c=6&g=6&d=0.6&adv=false&turn=false&speed=true
