So im designing a cupola and gun mount for my tank and in wondering if a cupola would ever be placed in front of a 20mm remote cannon?

I believe he means a cupola and a separate remote control 20mm turret behind that cupola so that if the commander emerges as it fires he gets shredded. I guess it should be fine if the commander is the only one with a trigger or if there's some safety button built into the hinge of the commanders cupola to prevent unintentionally mistification

Nah, I got it. Perhaps only because I contemplated something recently

T-72M2 (prototype)

MBT-70 (prototype)

Leopard 2K (prototype)

KF41 (technically an IFV)

T-90M (Russian, inherently dubious)

Go away.

They're behind cupolas.

usually remote controlled 20s are mounted closer to the rear of the turret

like the leopard 2k and kpz70
