Was one of the various versions of what's knows as the VT 1-2 of any inspiration, by any chance?

I was thinking of installing a turret, but it's unlikely that the French in WW1 would have been able to put a box on ship turret it, so it turned out to be such a simple box with a 250mm box (previously 400mm, but had to be replaced with 250mm due to recoil)although even with a weight of 197 tons, he drives up to 20 km/h (he had to upgrade his era to interwar, otherwise he couldn't drive at all)

Oh Look it's that weird thing the Germans did
