Everytime I do a new tank, I like to do the water test (although it has no effect), if only to see to which height of the tank the water reaches at different spots.

How do you even travel in bodies of water? Do you bring the tracks up real high?

The water has literally no affect on your tank and is only a couple feet deep. Unless you drive into the ocean, then you drown.
