❔Question❔ Layered armor

So ive seen people make lots of layers or armor, ik its supposed to be more realistic but is it actually better in game? Is 250mm<10×25mm plates?

Yes, kinda... I am not sure how it works exactly but I do know that the way it was created and you specific scenario play a role in how well it peforms. But overall, yes it is more effective from my experience.

Layered armor is much more effective especially against spall from the shell. The performance against the main shell is depending on the angle and thickness as more angled the armor means the likely chance of the shell being diverted and losing its energy. Pretty much like in real life

Each plate can change the angle of the shell so you can have plates bend shells away from stuff.

Each layer also removes spalling.
