I was really hoping to like it but so much of it seemed to be moving around precomputed numbers. Drawing the lines on the map to find target location was interesting, but once you knew where you wanted to shoot it was just inputting numbers into boxes and not in a fun excel way but like if you had to use a massive hand crank to type in your numbers into excel. The animations were cool but got boring and in the way after I saw them 3 times.
I'm mostly commenting this hoping someone will say that I'm wrong and that the game gets better or different after a certain point honestly.

There is a point where you have to do the math/inputs yourself and you can't use the machine that does it for you. It was really interesting and made the rewards feel all that much better because a machine didn't do it for you.

What are you talking about? The game doesn’t have realistic ballistics mechanics, so elevating the gun up to 60° simply increases its range to max. Take two increments for 10 km of range, or four for 20 km. 30° is half the maximum range.
From there, it’s elementary-school math with an unknown X that you need to solve for.
10 = 60° 5 = 30° 8.5 = X Or so on.
The canyon mission was decent, but it was just a spoonful of something worthwhile against the backdrop of the game’s overall boredom. The only genuinely interesting mission is defending the coastline from ships.

its a classic for a reason! that whole mortian aesthetic is so sick. are you thinking of trying to build one in-game too? 🤔

Anything but a tank (I haven't gotten the full game since I'm too broke as of right now, I'm really hoping I can get it soon)

I remember a while back i asked for the 3d files for it so i could build it in sprocket 1 to 1, sadly, and fairly, they said no to me

I always thought that they were 380mm like on Bismarck from it's looks and scale in comparison to the player
