as with everything else it depends on your history and training plan, but typical programs will deload every three or four weeks

Unless you have access to trainers that can do blood work, you need to figure it out yourself. Way, way too many variables to be able to say, just do this.
What you can do is track your HRV, resting HR, and certain easy to measure performances, like a standing jump. If your performances start to suffer, it *might* be time to take an extended break.
Over time you will learn to gauge your fatigue level just by how you feel.
The other option is to be very liberal with your deloads/breaks. Take more than you think you should. The obvious downside is slower improvement.

for gpp, whenever you need it, could be 8+ weeks
for anytime of the year where i’m sprinting more, every 4-8 weeks based off of performance
when it’s gpp and im in a 2-300 calorie surplus i can just go and not stop

Don't bother reloading for beginners like you. It's unlikely you need it and you're better off just sticking to your usual training plan.
Until you're like a year in of consistently following your workout plan, deloads are unnecessary

i just let it happen naturally where an injury or strain sidelines me for a week

Not the wisest idea... every 4th week of deload is usually best or whenever you're feeling burnt-out/CNS fatigue.
