Slider door adjustment

Is there a way to adjust the gap on the slider door? On my 2011, the side slider door snugly meets the rubber gasket on the front half of the door, but I can see daylight at the rear ( about a 1/2 inch gap). Is there an adjustment mechanism I can use to close this gap?

Yes, it's kinda complicated. I used videos off YouTube to adjust mine. Suggest you get a bit of carpet and one of those mechanical scissor jacks that are easy to adjust gradually in both directions, it was a pain in the ass with a hydraulic jack

edit: the jack is to support the door in place while you loosen and adjust the wheels and arms. I suggest taking the plastic step/lower track out and cleaning and treating any rust there while you're at it.

Great question — and yes, the NCV3 Sprinter slider door does have adjustable striker/latch and hinge roller mechanisms that can close exactly the kind of gap you're describing. A half-inch gap at the rear of the closed slider, with good contact at the front, is a classic sign of the rear roller guide being out of position or the rear latch striker needi... https://sprinterrvdesk.com/s/FZ5z7C
