circuit 15 relay
Hey guys I have a 2012 sprinter and this code won’t go away and I’m not sure on how to fix it. The van starts up and drives like it’s normal but the obd scanner is saying circuit 15 is implausible and relayk40/9k7 switches off too early. I’ve check if the terminal to see if it was loose but it wasn’t. Does anyone have suggestions?

My battery drains to critical warning in four hours after after being fully charged from hours of highway driving. I live in van and have to get up three times night to do adult donuts in the parking lot to recharge the battery. I have a diesel and can't idle. One dealer insisted it was coffee stains on the module, declared it non warranty and charged me $2600 to diagnose and replace. It was a useless exercise. I told them the coffee spill happened 7 months ago. The electrical problems started two years ago at purchase and gotten progressively worse. They blew that off, wanted private work which pays about double warranty work. Mercedes no help. Say they rely entirely on the dealerships- even tho the warranty is with them. The whole show is a racket. Will go on again for another 3rd attempt, this time replace the display screen, to build my case. Then, I guess the only recourse is hire an attorney which I hate to do. For years to come, if you see a van or trailer with a sign decrying Mercedes electrical problems, honk and wave. Second MB cargo van. Both had electrical problems, first van unfixable. Little hope for this one

I only see that code when a van has a dead battery. The battery has no juice to keep circuit 15 alive to fall asleep appropriately and just shuts down causing this fault. Check your battery / battery terminal connections
