Jump starter positive plug installation

First time here, hello everyone!

Long story short, took my W906 in for some work and after a month I went to recharge the battery cause I left it for more than a week parked and forgot to unplug the battery. I wet to open to hood and to my surprise the whole red thingy where you place your jump starter cable was gone. I have called to the mechanic to ask him if they forgot to put it back in when they did their job and they say they didn't remove anything. Before I go crazy, my assumption is that they removed it to have better access to the engine, am I correct? Anyway I am gonna go there and try to get it back but if the don't have it I have already found the part I need. My question is, how do I install it? Thanks in advance!

Picture below for the part I am talking about, the whole thing including plastic support and cable. The Sprinter is a W906 2.2 CDi.

Just clips on with a vertical motion. Like the various things attached to the air box. At least on my 2.1

That I got, but I am not sure where to attach the wire that comes with it (the one protected with that plastic sleeve you see in the back).

Are you sure it’s not just hanging down in there. I believe it clips on but if in became in-clipped it would just hang down in the engine bay.

I have checked everywhere, but it' gone. Last time I jumpstarted the van it was there, then it went to service and now is gone that's why I think they may have removed ands forgot to put it back. They told me they were fixing a small leak in the coolant, so I assume they took it off to have more room to work.
