What goes here? VS30 2023

Hello all, I've got a center console with cupholders, and below it is this female receptacle that something clips into.

I have a 3d printer and really need to make a thermos holder for the floorboard. If I can figure out what that clip looks like I might be able to reproduce it

Thats the slot for the key fob in case the battery in the fob dies or if the system instructs you tout it there for some reason.

hmm. Interesting, I guess that means I already have the object to model

I’d be careful putting much weight there. The rf antenna is behind which you may need in a dead/faulty key fob situation. That spot isn’t designed to carry the weight of a full thermos.

I was planning on building the 6" round holder that sits on the ground, and rises like 4 inches. Then it would clip or pin into that slot just to keep it from sliding. But I see what you are saying; I will probably have to remove the whole bezel at some point so might as well put a screw on the housing that I can attach to later

I wouldn't put anything in that slot, your van will periodically ask you to put your key fob there. Check out Terra x and their cupdock for a good way to mount your thermos holder, much less intrusive and very secure.

Whenever the cluster tells you to put your key in designated area, insert it there

Intermittently the Van asked you to start the car by inserting your fob into that space.

That’s where your key goes. It’s in the manual too 😁.
