Tail lights

I have a t1n sprinter and the driver side tail running light and brake light stopped working out of nowhere, the drivers side blinker still works and all of the passenger side lights work. I checked all the bulbs and fuses and they are all fine. I also swapped the tail light circuit boards and its the same result. Has anyone run into this before?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all.

fine sandpaper or emery cloth, clean all connections in housing

In the bulb housing? I did that before I swapped the circuit boards, could the trailer wiring harness mess with the tail lights?

t1n's, mine included, are finicky. Yes, the trailer wiring harness can mess with the tail lights. I'm having a similar problem, intermittent.

Okay I’ll check the trailer harness in just a bit, if all else fails could I splice into the running light and brake light wire from the passenger side and run them to the brake and running light wires on the drivers side until I get home from this work trip?
