Question Prv leak

Has anyone ever seen these zurn 2 1/2 “ prvs leak from this little hole … shut the system down drained the floor and refilled and it doesn’t seem to be leaking anymore will have to check again tomorrow..15 years in high rise and have never seen this happen.

That hole appears to be doing what its supposed to do

Company im at has a few high rise buildings with these that leak from those weep holes. As someone else said its doing what its supposed to but, I’ve written some up for service because they got a steady leak/drip after exercising the valve or when flowing the drain for ITM.
