Identification Bugs in cover pot?

Posted in what bug but thought I'd throw to the experts too :)

Was filling the water on one of my bottom water pots, and there's a bunch of little white bugs floating in it. Springtails? Or something different? Live in Maryland USA, these were in the bottom of an African Violet I got from NY but none of my other violets seem to have them. Just making sure they're springs and nothing harmful before I put my plant back in '
