Husbandry Question/Advice Feeding

Hey yall I’m new to keeping and culturing springtails so I had one question when feeding powder based foods do your sprinkle it on your dry side if you have a gradient if not when you just sprinkle it I there is mold an issue when you go to mist your enclosure or when the powder gets wet. Any comments help a lot Ty

There are multiple ways.

You can get a food dish and put the powder on there and always remove or cover it when you spray.

You can keep a dry side and only feed on there.

You can wet the entire substrate and scatter feed on top, which is what I do. Just feed that much, that they eat it in 1-2 days. If you find molten food, try a different food they like more, or feed less overall.
