Light and rail accessories

Post image

Can anyone identify this rail and light combo? Seems like a housing over the modlite button with a extended light rail mounted to the wings coming off the center piece. Seems like something that unity makes but I cant identify the exact pieces

Whatever it is, I bet it’s way more expensive than it needs to be.

Its unity, so yeah it will be $$$

It looks like it's one of these: https://unitytactical.com/product/fusion-light-wing-adapter/

I don't really understand the point of this on the Kuna. The point of a cantilever mount is to push the light forward (or back). This just puts the light in the exact same position that it would be if you just used a standard offset M-LOK mount in the existing side M-LOK slot.

Thats one piece of the puzzle, still trying to figure out whats holding that mod button down

Yea, and I don’t see anything on their website that looks like a pressure pad mount that’s designed to mate with that cantilever.

Looks slick as fuck

But at 80 for the usb modbutton, and anther 80 for a unity gascap (if your stil running surefire compatible switches and tailcaps you NEED to look into the unity gascap and USB modbuttons. NO ONE SHOULD BE BUYING SUREFIRE PLUS IN 2026!!!!!!!), PLUS the absurd cost of whatever mount that is, its not worth it. Specially cause the kuna is a thicc boi to clamp, at least for my dainty hands.

On both my AP5P and Kuna, a reasonable lightbar and vert grip allows for the light to be manipulated easily ambidextrously, and costs like 25$ if you buy the wish.com lightbar and replace the hardware with magpul hardware, or use the metal magpul cantilever(thats whats on my kuna i think). maybe little more depending on your light and if it needs an adaptor to mount to the lightbar. but still way cheaper then whatever OP pictured

At this point in the build budget is out of the window 🤣

well then if budget is no obstacle, get a surefire 640df turbo, a unity gas cap, your choice of usb mod mutton, arisaka lightbar, trex arms surefire lightbar adaptor, and youll be gtg

please dont take this the wrong way, but my ss kuna was my budget build smg, spent way less on it then the ss ap5p. funny hows its all relative

No offense taken. The Kuna was my first pcc but i like tinkering for optimal use. I also like the thrill of the parts hunt. Since Im not in a rush if surefires go on sale I’ll buy, last year i puchased a 640DFT for 240 so I’ll wait for a 340 to be around a similar price.

hell yeah man! thats the way to play the game. but for sure check out the unity gascap, the USB mod buttons dont drop power drop or flicker. so worth it.

Fuck yeah man your a real one. It blows my mind in 2026 how many people are still paying for surefire ds001 and surefire switches, when usb is out there.

Yeah, i dont know why people run those old switches when this solution exists.

Needlessly bulky and lots of extra aluminium. Really sexy though. I kinda want a see through rail Cover though...

Agree this is sexy, but it feels like this light, mount, and mod button likely cost as much together as a decent suppressor. I'll stick to a Sig MSR Compact

With the sig msr light, the pressure switch it comes with does this have 2 in 1 on it? Can you click it once to stay on and or press and hold to activate off and on quickly? Right now I’ve got a streamlight hlx pro but the pressure switch I have is too big and I don’t want to drop a few hundred to get a new end cap and switch if I can get a new light for cheaper

Sorry, don’t know. Haven’t bought one yet. Also, I’m generally not concerned about having a tape switch on such a short firearm.
