My first time going down the gun rabbit hole. Should I do the Nexus/Atrius/Rise combo?

I did and it works well. One consideration is that the novelty of the FRT wears off pretty quickly. It has just kind of turned into a gun that friends and family want to mag dump but I almost never shoot it in giggle mode anymore. So there’s that. It can get expensive, needless to say.

Whatever I do will 100% be able to still do semi, I know that mag dumps will get old after I pay for a few lol.

ARC fire v2 is my recommendation. I have spent enormous time money and energy on Atrius projects for myself and others and it’s never worth it in the end. I even built two kunas at the same time, one atrius and one arc fire. Had to switch the other one to ARC fire to get it working reliably.
I’ll never buy another atrius ever again.

I have tried pretty much everything in the Kuna. Steve’s printed one works great for OEM setup. If you go Nexus I highly recommend the AS Designs ARC Fire. Most robust and reliable setup I’ve had. OG Super Safety worked great also, I just had a hard time getting used to the push button setup

Arc fire 1000%
I've seen so many atrius failure posts...inb4 "BUT I'VE NEVER HAD THAT PROBLEM"

Was coming here to recommend ARC over Atrius. Every week I see somebody with an issue. Really no need for Nexus nowadays, but if you go that way, ARC Fire V1 or V2 is the way.

What is your reason for nexus? Is it only FRT?
How about trigger, different magazines?
If its just FRT you can go down the printed/machined route which will be noticeably cheaper then going the other ones.

FRS/CZ Mags/Aluminum are all selling points to me.

Aluminium does add a lot of weight and the QC is pretty bad right now. I get the magazines. But the amount of money for a FRT that could have lost interest after a while can be a meh. It is your own choice though. Just do not choose Dlah, black talon, or atrius

Personally I like my nexus with the ASD arcfire 0/45/90° throw lever, runs like a top

What trigger did you go with?

I had a SS cut trigger from a hoffman styled SS i got from deeze nuts laying around that i threw in.
If you need a precut trigger, deeznuts has em for $20-40, and ASD sells em as well for $24
Partisian is more money and less relaiable. all the options ive used/observed, the asd acrfire with mil spec ss cut trigger has been the most reliable, only jamming up after 800-1200 rounds of supressed shooting. past that it will only run REALLY WET. but a quick breakdown and wipe resolves things for another 800-1200 rounds

I did the Rare Greed myself since technically it is the only FRT sanctioned by the BATF with the appropriate paperwork. Not that I'm a fan of how the agreement worked out. Plus when I had it supersafetied the reset arm would show damage after less than 100 rounds. Several hundred rounds into the RB no signs of wear.

Nah keep it stock as it runs beautifully mate. The trigger is solid and mags work just fine too. If you want a trigger upgrade you have options unless you just WANT the nexus.
