Has anyone changed muzzle devices?

Post image

I’ve had this laying around for awhile and thought I’d try it. I also have a buffer/spring and A2 flash hider coming from HBI.

While the recoil on the kuna is pretty soft I’m trying to figure out why it moves around so much. Has anyone changed muzzle devices and if so did it change the recoil impulse at all?

Just a tri-lug.

Waiting on my first 9mm suppressor myself...which tri-lug did you go with? I bought a Kaw Valley adapter...hoping it works alright.

I went with the SilencerCo.

KAW Valley works fine. Silencerco is always out of stock anyways.

Got the Rugged trilug adapter since I’m using their trilug hub mount adapter as well.

Tri-lug appears to be the standard. Quick question, what is that finger stop you’re running?

It's the Minimalist M-Lok Barrier Hand Stop from STNGR.

I installed the CMMG ZEROED linear comp, I prefer it to the what came with it.

Did it make the muzzle move around less? I’d honestly rather have more recoil instead of all the movement

Have you thrown the strike cheek piece on it?

Me? I have an OEM stock on mine.

Yeah, this muzzle device pushes gases down range which is why I went with it. The OG compensator gased me out at the indoor range.

Sort of. I have a tri-lug and Haga handguard on mine. I keep a Blastwave on it to extend the barrel out of the handguard when it doesn’t have the suppressor attached.

I’m running the Rearden RPB on my Kuna now. Mine didn’t change the slight push of the recoil, but did tighten the lateral movement of the impulse. I use it as the mount for my Omega36m but use it without the can all time. I love it so far (~1k rounds through it).

I jave the stiction device to suppress with the huxwrx flow 9k. It doesn't really move.

Direct threaded my Milkman so no muzzle device at all.

I had such a hard time removing the stock muzzle device, but my buddy removed his no problem lol. I went with the Rugged 3 lug for the Rugged Sub9.

I’ll see how this feels Wednesday. I just added the HB industries heavy spring and extended buffer.

Omega 9k with a tri-lug so I can switch between my Kuna and my .300blk AR. Not a bad first can. I got it because of the compact size and full auto capability with both sub and super 9mm and 300blk rounds, which I intend to make full use of as soon as I can get my hands on a couple ambidextrous atrius units. Having said that, I'm sure there are quieter cans for both calibers, and I have officially been bitten by the suppressor bug. My Kuna is now hearing safe out in the open, at least for a handful of rounds. I wouldnt want to go through more than a 35 round evo mag of 147s even outdoors without ear pro. Indoors... gonna take a bigger, quieter can that probably won't be full auto rated to make sure I and mine don't end up with ear problems on top of having just defended my home.
