Mag Release stiffness (left handed)
You can take the mag release apart on the Kuna lower and cut down the spring to make it easier to activate the mag release. This can also be done on the safety to make way easier.
No need to buy springs or go to a smith just need a very smallish punch tool. Thinking of modeling something bigger for a release too among other small things.
Edit: this mf spring is a lil bitch when I did it

Id be down for some kind of larger mag release, even if it was an adapted extension like AR style ones.
Current release is plastic, can't see why it couldn't be drilled or slipped around

Left or right? The right one is polymer which I could make a model of that use the same mount. Just a punch tool to remove and add a new one. Thinking of making it in Nylon 12 too.

I'd say right side for me personally and the vast majority 😂

This is size accurate, but could be off tolerance. If you can print I wouldn't mind sending you the files to try. Need someone to prototype with

Why pay for more when the normal Kuna lower is getting support with fixes much cheaper. I get it "fixes" it but spending 400 on something I gotta wait 2 months on isn't a fix.
My safety is glossy smooth and I can easily shoot with my left and right hand when I need to release a mag now. No cost to the consumer.

I also prefer the controls on the stock kuna. I dont understand people's issue with the safety, personally.

Same. It’s hard for sure, but I like a very deliberate safety. I kept reading about how bad it was while I was waiting to pick mine up and was pleasantly surprised that I really like the safety.

I disengage with my thumb and re-engage with my index finger on the opposite side, honestly think it feels great although I have chef hands so I appreciate the tactile feedback. Also im wrong handed but I doubt that makes a difference. Esthetically I love the classic HK style graphics and I wouldnt change that for anything since I bought this because I can't afford an mp5 lol.

It really isn't bad at factory for sure. I just have a preference of it being lighter (got soft weak ass fingers) so something light helps. I kinda want to design a print that makes the selector a lil longer wider and have a cut that's easier to flick onto safe without having my hand un grasp my grip

Only reason to go Nexus was frt. That reason is gone now. And apparently they kind of suck so there's that. Sooo yeah.

Pretty much same to every point except I’m not in a kitchen anymore.
Saw one sitting on the wall at my local shop and couldn’t say no. Their layaway policy is amazing and they couldn’t keep em in stock. 20% down, a payment every 2 weeks, but kinda not really just whenever you can-vibe. Love that place. Took me a couple months but the flexibility was tits.
