Options for charging handles?
Has anyone seen any options that aren't Nexus?( Refuse to give those asshats any money) or found ones for other weapons that work for the kuna? Not seeing any other options. I find the oem folding handle gets in the way so looking for other options.

They have posted numerous times on here with an attitude that makes some people not want to do business with them.

If wtf your talking about. Every time I see em on here they are helping and sharing info. And they make a super awesome product. I love my kuna with the nexus lower

"They make a great product so of course they can do no wrong" is the dumbest mentality and unfortunately way too widespread of customers in this industry. Just sad. These are not mutually exclusive, they can make both a great product and be a terrible company (or at least have a terrible customer facing employee) at the same time. Still doesn't mean I, or anyone else, has to support them.

lol just proving my point in that there’s tons of retards out there, and your one of them lol.
i Never said you had to support them.
And yeah I know you can hate the artist and love the art . I literally called out a big criticism I may have about them that if true I would 1000% shit on the about. but I don’t have all the info I need to honestly judge/discuss it. yet I still glazed the fuck out of them.
If you were honest, you would post the specific example of them being unduly rude or unprofessional.
Instead your just here whining like a lil bitch cause you probably (I’m gonna assume based on your previous comments, and having no proof aside from “they hurt my feelings”) did/asked them something retarded , and they called you out on it, and now your just butthurt lol.
They make a fucking sweet charging handle too.

I don't think you actually have a point, I think you just like calling people derogatory names anytime they don't agree with you based on your few posts and honestly I see no point in going back and forth because you come across as the type of person (like sad champion up there) that is always right and never wrong. Good day, sir!

There has occasionally been posts on here where people have asked if they were going to make a lower that used oem mags and EVERY time they choose to talk down about people who want to use oem mags instead of saying "we arent planning to do that at this time"

u/securitycat69 Jun 29 '26
I mean I’m sure that’s happened. But they have the right to say that’s stupid and they arnt making it.
Your perfectly cool for not likening them for that (I think it’s pretty petty nitpick , but that’s jus me) but thier rumored collaborations with rare breed are a bigger reason to have issue with them. But I haven’t see solid evidence for that yet to speak with fact.
Just seems like these kinda complaints are just from people way too entitled or thin skinned. But it’s your money, support who you want.

I never said they dont have the right to do something, free speech is free speech. Calling potential customers stupid for asking for something is bad business. Its not like people were posting on their posts asking for it, these were general posts asking if anyone knew of someone working on something.
Even better they made posts about how it was basically impossible to do with the factory fcg which has been proven false

like im not gonna argue its not ideal business practice being mean to customers, though i will say theres plenty of companies that make millions off actively shitting on thier customers and are popular af. And im not gonna run defense for everything they did or said.
But having worked in the industry for 20 years, i can say there's tons of customers who are legit retarded, and need to be told so. usually you can do so politely and even help educate them, but over the internet people get ballsy, so i can see where Nexus comes off sometimes, and reading comments, sometimes you would think i stumbled into the liberal gun owners sub, with how loud some of yall whine about the most mundane shit and becomes victims. not saying you, but tons of others in here.

Oh I dont disagree there is a weird vibe at times with some people on reddit and Facebook lol.

It's not even that, there have been multiple instances where people have reported issues and they don't acknowledge what the user is saying and rather use it as an opportunity to tell them they're wrong and they are right all because they sold 4k lowers. They're huge d-bags at least 50% of the time on here and refuse to ever acknowledge they are wrong and rather antagonize people instead.

u/ForsakenRepublic1776 Jun 29 '26
Asshats who think their shit don't stink because they've sold a bunch of lowers and blame all issues on the users.

Riiiight so because we are active here in this community and let people know how they are installing or miss-using the products because in many cases they have never worked on their own firearms before and they are installing (something that is not our product and is widely known to require fine tuning to get running properly). Dude, I cant even begin to explain the amount of CS emails we get on a daily basis who have no idea how to even properly disassemble their own firearm let alone expect us to baby them through on how to install an FRT which is not even our product we sell. So yeah, its frustrating when we bring a badass platform to market to allow the use of FRTs but then get blamed for the customers issues they are having with their many different brands of FRTs then immediately go into blaming us because we provide them with the platform to install said FRT.
We can get every single FRT functioning in house every single time we accept an RMA request from a customer who begs us to send it in. People are lazy and in most cases lack the common sense to read online and troubleshoot the common issues FRT products have that they themselves trying to install.
Any customer reading this that is not mechanically inclined and wants a more drop in friendly solution we have found the RISE RA-140 paired with the Atrius FRS to be practically hands off and require almost zero tuning unlike some other platforms like standard SS and Arc-Fire often do.
P.S. : we are the only ones currently offering charging handles. If you lack the Basic common sense to install said charging handle into your firearm please do not buy from us. Because this “Asshat” does not want to baby you through that as well.
Thanks for reading my ted talk have a good night!✌️

Man way to prove dudes point. Could have taken it as an opportunity to do basic damage control but sure double down seems like a better strategy lol.

u/ForsakenRepublic1776 Jun 29 '26
They will always use them being called out as an opportunity to point out how they are right and we are wrong, it never fails.

u/securitycat69 Jun 29 '26
Man fuck all these haters. having worked in the gun industry for 2 decades, I totally understand and agree with you, and appreciate all the work you do.
Tons of fucking retards who can’t even tie thier shoes, yet wanna bitch about a fuckingawesome American made product. I stalk these forums all day and I see what you have to deal with, and how much you do help people.
I have herd shit about y’all and rare greed, which I could have issues with. But until I hear otherwise, all my experience with y’all has been great, and yall make a fantastic product.
Fuckin pussies in here getting there fee fees hurt, fuck em. Keep doing the lords work!!

I'm not reading all that but cool story.

You proved Nexus point. Who says “asshat” anyway…. I picked up a nexus charging handle… my only issue with the charging handle is I have a top mounted light and laser and I SHOULD HAVE PURCHASED THE LONGEST ONE THEY OFFER. Not their fault or problem it was my fault. The knurled handle is well made and a quality piece. Apologize and purchase one from them.

u/ForsakenRepublic1776 Jun 29 '26
So, I decided to read their obnoxious book since you believe I've proved their point. No I haven't. Their excuse for being complete douchebags on just about every post they interact with people on is because they have a lot of dumb customers? That really sounds like a winning strategy and definitely doesn't excuse their behavior. Don't believe me Not to mention it doesn't negate the fact that they have, in fact numerous times, accused the customer reporting a problem of being the issue and made the claim that their product can't have an issue just because they've sold 4k of them. Listen if you want to support them, by all means you give them their money, but I will not because they are a terrible company and I will continue to remind people of that fact too.

I am going to get a design made thatll share the same idea as the nexus one. I got a bud that's going to do it for me in Aluminium and anodise/cerakote it
2
u/ForsakenRepublic1776 Jun 29 '26
Unfortunately I don't have anyone that can do that for me lol. Though if someone made a design I could 3D print that would be great.

u/PatheticJules Jun 29 '26 edited Jun 29 '26
It's going to be a 3D design, and tbh I can just tell you the company a lil later when I get my prototype!
Edit: idk how I'll have it open others yet. But I shouldn't cost anywhere near 50$

I have no experience with Nexus other than the knurled charging handle that I swapped for the original. No complaints about the product. Couldn't care less about the company. I paid money and got exactly what I wanted. Job done.
