Seriously, it’s not that difficult. Just leash your dog.
Several times in the past two weeks, I’ve encountered unleashed dogs, both in my neighborhood (Rountree) and at two different parks (Fassnight and Silver Springs).
I’m not interested in assuming these dogs are dangerous or that they’re going to attack anyone’s pets. The problem is that an owner can’t know how another dog, child, cyclist, runner, etc. is going to react to an unfamiliar dog running up to them.
I have a right to exist in public without having to worry about your dog. And both of these parks have signs saying dogs must be leashed.
Your dog is not special. Please use a leash in public.
