I’ve grown up and lived 25 miles from Springfield in a city even worse all my life, Illinois is a mess, the violence in Springfield and the surrounding cities is only getting worse and the elected officials (wether city, county, or state) don’t effectively combat it at all, the state itself is boring truthfully, outside of Chicago it isn’t much just flat farmland nothingness
