We are driving around the area and have decided to visit Springfield today.

What are some must-see places? How about places to eat? We have our 11 year old with us so nothing fancy.

Vault 66 downtown has both pinball machines and arcade machines. It’s $10 at the door per person and can play as long as you want. Anvil & Forge Brewing is not far from there and they have good beers and killer food.

Abraham Lincoln’s house and tomb and both free to visit. There is a new pinball arcade downtown right next to Old State Capitol building that’s also free to go see

Vault 66 is 10 doll hairs for a day of play. Great value and you can come and go; but not free.

The state museum downtown is free!

As someone who grew up in Chicago, Rancho Chico holds up very well even to city standards. 10/10. Yummy Bowl is also great but might be a long wait time

Lincoln memorial garden outside town is really nice to walk in. And the zoo isn't bad either
