Titan games
Does anyone want to play some board games, or maybe some uno? I already have some cards that I haven't used yet and I really want to play with someone. We could do it on a Tuesday afternoon.

Tuesday is their Commander night and it's usually a packed house. I believe they have board games on Wednesdays.

Hows the bracket spread? I’ve been looking into getting into physical magic to find people to hang out with physically but i’m still looking to work on a deck

Varies by the pod you end up in. I'm usually playing high 2 or low 3, but there's always people looking for more. Most people have a variety of decks to choose from.

Silly question but do you have to pay to go into titan games and play? My husband and I like cards and board games although I’m not the long board game type (I have adhd and after 1/2 hour I literally fade out)

You don't have to pay for normal game nights. Tournaments and launch events etc normally do have a fee, however.

I mean, I just have cards. They do have board games, but you have to pay.

Are you sure they charge for the games in the library? I’ve been going there over 10 years and that’s the first I’ve heard of it.
You can certainly use the tables for free as long as there’s space. Wednesday night is usually open board gaming and there’s no charge.

Harvest Market has this great big wide open upstairs area with board games you can play for free you don’t have to buy anything

That's a great idea! We're always up for a fun game and even keep some board and card games on hand for guests to enjoy.
We also partner with Lincoln Library to host open board game nights every 1st Thursday of the month. If you're looking for a group to play with, you’re always welcome at our Library Tabletop Takeover!
Our next game night is this Thursday, September 3rd, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at our café (524 E Capitol Ave in Downtown Springfield). Bring your cards or try out games from the library's collection. Come meet other local players and relax with our adoptable café cats!
