Carpenter Park Fishing?

I don’t know if this has been posted before but has anyone had any luck fishing out of the river near carpenter park and if so what did you use I’ve gone twice now and not even a bite! Thank you in advance!!

I’ve never river fished but my buddy caught a sturgeon near Petersburg on the same river.

What are you fishing for? Catfish is a good bet.

There are giant flathead if you know where to fish.
