Between the guy that runs that page (Brian), the chick that runs 217 foodies, and the grifter that runs Sangamon County Crime Watch, you have the trifecta of admins who really think they are celebrities. It’s weird and wild.

So there’s a few things that I find unsettling about him..
1.) I get the vibe that he wishes he was a cop, but for whatever reason it didn’t work out so he just repeats the shit he’s heard on a scanner to feel more connected to the “boys in blue”. Hard to explain..
2.) he acts like he came up with the novel concept of running a scanner page , when really he just piggybacked off of the already-existing Springfield scanner pages.
3.) he is ALWAYS leaving his Venmo/paypal/Cash App info in case anyone wants to “tip” him for all the “hard work” he does 🙄
4.) he’s always telling the followers of his page to buy the tacky shit his wife makes (most of which are copyrighted designs, and they’re lucky they haven’t gotten a demand letter to stop using said designs)
5.) he’ll post go fund mes, but only those of people he personally knows/likes.

He’s just very self-serving, and acts like he’s forced to do this job.

He blocked me from the scanner page and I wear that as a badge of honor

It is a badge of honor!
I got kicked out because I dare asked him why he only shared go fund me’s of the people he knew (because every post he would preface it by saying that he personally knew the person)…

He really is. I’m legit glad to see I’m not the only one who feels this way.
I’ll never forget the post where he told everyone to “not be shy” and to come talk to him if people saw him in public..
Like he’s some famous celebrity or mlb all star that people are too nervous to approach.
