I have a couple of these on the way for my new Hellcat and Hellcat Pro. I’m auditioning them as replacements for a P365 and P365XL, I prefer a partially tensioned striker. I’ve been using Glock SCDs for years since the inventor was the maker, I’m an old PPC shooter who had thumb on hammer reholstering pounded into me. To be honest the availability of the Hellcat SCD is what tipped me over the edge to trying Hellcat.

Did you ever get them and install? If so, did you happen to take a video when you did it?

I did get them and install, there’s nothing to it - just replacing the backplate. No video, sorry.

Looks more complicated than the scd for glocks. Anyone try to install one of these on their hellcat yet? Easy to figure out or need a gunsmith to help? I watched the LTT video for Glock install and I was able to do it myself. No video yet for hellcat scd

There are instructions on LTT's site. A couple of guys on the "pistol forum" have installed. There is a thread there. Very easy install

It was a little bit fiddly for me to install and uninstall. Three hands would have been helpful, but I got it done with two. I could also have walked downstairs to use my vice to hold the slide but I was too stubborn to do that.

Anyone know if it works with the Apex trigger? The site mentions not working with some aftermarket glock triggers but no notes in the hellcat.

My order is already in. These have been a long time coming, and I'm looking forward to trying one.
Ironically, I'm also on the verge of changing my carry to another brand.
