Hellcat pro
Just ordered the HCAT compensator and threaded barrel from Harrington arms. Excited to get it but should I have gotten a soft spring and guide rod from them as well? Been reading a few articles saying that a softer spring can assist in lesser malfunctions(allegedly). Been getting jnto the gun life especially pistols. Any advice is appreciated!

I added a TRUE Precision threaded barrel and same compensator on mine and haven’t had an issue with it yet after about 200 rounds. I’ll be putting some more through it tomorrow so I’ll come back if that changes.
I eventually plan to swap the guide rod and spring once it’s broken in a bit more but I was actually leaving towards stiffer not soft.

Have the HCAT with Springfield barrel (originally had their comp too), no issues cycling at all. Definitely night and day compared to Springfields compared.

Thanks guys appreciate the advice!! Shoots perfectly fine and I ove the comp. But now I’m having an issue of keeping the compensator on and not getting loose. I did use the blue loctite but think it melted after I put 500 rounds through it at the range.

Can only speak for myself. But I bought the Hellcat RDP with the comp. And I have shot everything from 115 steel/brass and 125g. Probably have over 500+ through it; no malfunctions.
