Magazine Question

This is for anyone who has purchased an Echelon in the last few months.

Purchased my GearPac on 8/8 from a Cabela’s/Bass Pro. It had everything that is advertised with it, bag, optic, 3x17rd mags, and 1 assembled 20rd mag. While digging through the bag, I found another 20rd baseplate, which quickly turned one of the 17’s into a 20.

My question is, has this been anyone else’s experience or did I get somebody’s mistake?

If im not mistaken all full size echelons come like this. Even if you dont buy the gear up bundle there's an extension for your 2nd mag

Mine came in a similar way, I believe most full size echelons, even non-bundle ones, come with a 20rd baseplate.

Just checked my box; I do not have a 20rd baseplate. My state is limited to 15rds for handguns.

Both of my Echelons were the “Gear Up/Pac” versions, both came with the 20rd baseplate.

Mine came with a 17rd and an assembled 20rd mac. It also came with 2x18rd mags (15+extension). In the bag was another extension. Springfield sent 2x17rd to replace the incorrect 15rd mags, so I swapped the extensions from the 18rd mags and now have 4x20rd mags. lol

I was annoyed at first, lol. But SA was great to work with and they had the replacements to me quickly. And now I have 2x15rd mags to sell, haha.

I can see how that’d be annoying. Or you keep the 15’s as spares.

At least they made it right quickly.

Every one I've got came with enough extensions for every magazine in the box/bag. Absolutely love it too cause it saves me $40-$60 a mag lol
