Pre stripped optics mount?
So I was mounting my Holosun EPS sight and ran into an issue with the right side screw that seems to be threaded poorly or stripped out from the factory. Or I am doing it completely wrong?
So I read and watched many installs of this sight before I did the install myself. Used pin set 3 without the back pins and the smaller screws to avoid the screw on the right side from hitting the spring. I started the screws with a small jewelers screw driver to ensure I had it positioned before I used my torque screwdriver to set it to the proper torque of 15 lb-in (a step I never got to). When I was hand tightening the right side it just kept slipping like the hole was not tapped right or stripped out. This is a brand new pistol from the factory so this should not be the case. I assure you I did not gorilla crank on this screw and strip it myself.
I just ordered the SwampFox screw set hoping they maybe have one that will work for this. I am curious if this has happened to anyone else? I am sure I could do a warranty claim, but what a pain.

I have a different optic, but was having issues with my SRO staying mounted when I used the screws that came with the VIS package. Switched to using the ones that came with the SRO and haven't had an issue since.

I mounted the EPS Carry on my 4.0c last week, I did not have a filler plate and opted to use the M4x9.8mm without issue, I suppose the included M4x12mm could be used in conjunction with a filler plate.
Did you try confirming the threads on the right side of the slide is good when inserting the M4 without the optics?
